Contest and Prize Policies
Station employees, members of
their immediate families and any other person residing within the
same household, station’s affiliates, advertising agencies,
participating sponsors and/or promotional partners are not eligible
to participate or to win.
Prizes that are won must be picked
up at our offices/studios during normal weekday business hours (9 am
– 4 pm). Prizes that are not picked up within three weeks shall
be forfeited. Prizes that are tickets for a specific concert or
event shall be picked up by 3 pm the day of the event or shall be
forfeited. The station assumes no responsibility for redeeming such
tickets should an event be cancelled, postponed, or not held for any
reason whatsoever.
By participating in a contest
offered by the station, contestants consent to the use of their
names, voices, photographs or likeness for advertising or publicity
purposes related to this or similar promotions without compensation.
By participating, entrants agree,
on behalf of themselves, their executors, assigns and heirs, (a) to
abide by all the rules and the decisions of the management of the
station which shall be final in all matters relating to all
contests; (b) release and hold harmless the station, its parent,
subsidiary and affiliated companies and their respective directors,
officers and employees from any and all liability, claims, or
actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to
persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the
receipt, ownership, or use of any prize or while preparing for,
participating in, and/or traveling to any prize-related or
contest-related activity associated in any manner whatsoever with
the station’s contests; and (c) that the station nor any of the
aforementioned entities are responsible for damaged, late, lost,
misdirected entries or communications.
